School Information

This section provides an insight into life at Templeton Primary School.

The school prides itself on the positive relationships it has with the community, and the quality of the learning programmes that are taught. If you are considering sending your child to Templeton Primary School we suggest you visit our school and experience the open friendliness that is evident.

Templeton Primary School is continually appraising, reviewing and reflecting on curriculum matters and procedures. In a positive and progressive manner we are preparing children for the future and assisting them to cope with the many changes and challenges they will face in the years ahead.

Templeton Primary School is a Full Primary School, catering for children from Year 1 to Year 8. There is a defined catchment area for pupils: the school caters mainly for children in Templeton and its immediate environs. The school has experienced significant growth in recent times, and the Board of Trustees has implemented a strategic plan including an enrolment zone to cope with future expansion.

There are 15 classrooms operative: we make every effort to maintain class numbers below 18 in our New Entrant class, below 23 in Year 1-3 and below 29 in Year 4-8.
